[wplug] installing ethernet driver?

I'm baffled. I've got Redhat 7.1 on my machine,
and it refuses to recognize my Netgear FA311 
ethernet card. I've been throurgh the kernel
build process twice, and no joy; I'm missing
something somewhere when it comes to recognizing
the ethernet card. While I've got some unix
admin experience, I'm a newbie to Linux.

Any clues? Thanks!
