vlc is nice.  I actually get better playback w/ xine:
http://xine.sourceforge.net
It supports ifo parsing now and it's quite nice.

In addition you can shell out the 20 bucks for a dxr2 card to get semi-decent 
playback on your monitor and good playback to a tv.
