what kind of problems is your friend having? i ran madrake 7.2 on a box in
our lab that had a promis ata66 controller because redhat didnt support it
out of the box. it ran fine from what i could remember.

There is no operating system but linux and linus is its kernel maintainer.
Sometime in August Smith, Edward assaulted keyboard and produced...
|I downloaded both the .iso images and burned them myself. I run it on my
|home machine and three boxes at work. Seems to work fine on each. Although a
|friend of mind had a hard time using it on his system with a Promise ATA
|controller in it.
