I just made the upgrade to GNUCash 1.6 not long ago. It's a worth while
upgrade because apparently it now has support to print out reports, although
I haven't tried this yet.

1.6 Does require a lot more libraries than the 1.4 release that came with
Mandrake 8. You will have to have gnome-base installed, but if you use
Mandrakes software manager then it should take care of it all for you.

I sucessfully built GNUcash in the 1.4 series from source, and then I
installed Mandrake 8.0 which came with it. I have heard 1.6 requires a large
number of libraries. I plan to try that soon.

I tried gnucash, but I didn't have all the libraries or it didn't work
right or something.  I probably had it setup incorrectly.

When you get it working for your bank, please send me the code.  Would be
cool if we could get all the banks in Pitt...:)
