I recently upgraded to X 4.0.2, and have had some problems with Gnome
crashing. As far as I can tell, this does not hapen under any other
window manager. (I have tried Blackbox and KDE 1.x) I'm not sure exactly
what version of Gnome I am using, but I doubt it's the most recent one
since it came with my distro (SuSE 7.0). It running on top of Sawfish
(again, I'm not sure which version). I never had any problems with this
configuration under X 3.3.6, so it makes me wonder: do I need to upgrade
my Gnome and/or Sawfish to work with X 4.0.2? It seems to crash most
frequently when I'm away from the box - I'll come back and find it frozen
on the screensaver, and it won't respond to the keyboard or mouse.
System details: XFree86 4.0.2 (from SuSE rpm)
		SuSe 7.0 (with 2.4.1 kernel)
		Sawfish x.x
		Gnome x.x
Trident Blade video card (S3 Virge chipset and driver)
