Technically, one might call it a "semi dynamic ip," in that the address is
supposedly reassigned once each week.  However, as my installer explained, it is
@home's practice always to reassign a computer its same address.  Mine hasn't
changed in over a year and is the same one that was first assigned.  -- DT
