All of these suggestions sound great, and I'll do some of them when I have 
time.  Here are the places to look:

/var/www/wplug/lib/head.inc

includes the header (logo links and left menu bar)

/var/www/wplug/lib/foot.inc

is the footer.  You can guess what is in there.

If you look at the code it should be pretty easy to figure out.  If you have 
any more questions feel free to ask.  I'm not sure exactly what else to tell, 
sorry :(

I'll work on those items as well.
