I have a screenshot up at http://users.telerama.com/~bryce/pictures/screenshot-20010728.jpg that you might want to put up on the WPLUG screenshot collection. It's a bit sizable (460kb) but I can scale it down a few factors if necessary. It isn't much, Enlightenment v0.16.5/Neuromancer theme/spacescape background with a few IRC clients, a copy of pine, a MOOclient, and a handful of epplets. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Doctor Who - SysOp, Crystal Chantry - telnet://chantry.virtadpt.net:2422/ My other computer is a HAL 9000. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 'doko ni datte, hito wa tsunagatte iru.' I think last time I checked the site, the owner of the desktop being displayed had a brief message about what was running on it, so I'll give one of those too... "This is my desktop running on Slackware Linux 7.1. The window manager I am using is Enlightenment with the absolute-blue theme and blue-heart gtk theme, and on my primary desktop you can see my user menu in the upper left, directly below is Mozilla wich is taking a glance at www.2600.com, and to the right is XMMS with the k-jofol plugin and adagio skin. Along the far right are all 4 of my desktops without borders. My background is a picture of Lain from Serial Experiments Lain. Inbetween the other 3 desktops I am also running the GIMP, GAIM, and a tinted gnome-terminal." Figured I'd submit a screenshot of the week. This is fvwm2 running my special "Early American Butt-Ugly" Theme, with the default programs that SuSE 7.1 brings up when you 'startx'. I'm also running emacs in an xterm (what more does the programming geek need anyway?). Note the machine status display. Two CPUs. oooh. ahhh. ++Mark Dalrymple, markd at badgertronics.com From jo2y at midnightlinux.com Tue Aug 28 17:53:07 2001 From: jo2y at midnightlinux.com (James O'Kane) Date: Tue, 28 Aug 2001 17:53:07 -0400 (EDT) Subject: [Wplug-web] July installfest images.
