would be better to hold it over a medium where we can talk to each
other in real time. The IRC channel would be suitable for that, or
would could meet in person. If we met over IRC, we could submit
the chat logs to the board as evidence of what we're doing.<br>

Thanks for the clarification, Greg. You've helped our reform
effort already by telling us what you consider WPLUG's main
problems. Defining problems is just as important as proposing
solutions, so we need participation in both areas. Even if you
don't want to propose solutions to the issues you see, we'll
always welcome your feedback.<br>

Email isn't that bad. The kernel developers use to use emails, tar
balls, Gnu c compiler, and file transfer protocol to develop the kernel.
Sure they can do it a bit easier now with git, but we have git too if we
need it.

If you don't want to throw out the bylaws and adopt model bylaws from a healthy organization, then perhaps you could benchmark off of any nationally successful organization. I belonged to ASM and ASQ for most of my career.
I mean these comments to be constructive. I still enjoy WPLUG meetings when I can make it. I just cannot abide WPLUG politics.
