Join Avnet Enterprise Solutions and Hewlett-Packard for an informative breakfast where we will discuss computing trends in the industry and the practical application of Linux in the enterprise. With pressures to reduce IT operating & capital budgets, and the continuing need to improve service levels and information availability, Avnet Enterprise Solutions will provide you with creative methods for justifying, acquiring, and managing technology change.

Linux is gaining significant momentum in the corporate world. To facilitate the decisions you may be facing regarding Linux, we will begin by providing a high-level overview of the current Linux trends. Our discussion will continue with some practical applications of Linux in the enterprise and the business benefits to be realized by implementing it.

After gaining an understanding of Linux in the enterprise, you will come away with an understanding of the specific areas where an ROI or justification case can be built, migration strategies, and services available to help you get there. We will finish with an overview of some real-world case studies.
