If we aren't effectively pursuing relationships with other organizations, then the vice chair will rarely have anything to report.

That's something that needs to change, and like Vance said in the main mailing list, it starts with us. If you're not sure where to begin, the list of ideas I posted earlier ought to provide a good starting point. Open source succeeds because of collaboration, and so can we.
