[wplug-plan] Help Wanted for Pittsburgh Perl Workshop

Hello,

The Pittsburgh Perl Mongers have asked for WPLUG-er help with the 
Pittsburgh Perl Workshop.

This is a really great opportunity for WPLUG to participate in this local 
conference if for no other reason but to say "Yes, Pittsburgh does Open 
Source!"

The Pittsburgh Perl Workshop will take place at Carnegie Mellon 
University, University Center on September 23. The website is

Here are the job descriptions

Kiosk SysAdmin:
Manage a few wireless machines so that attendees can quickly browse the 
web during breaks. Needed: at least one, at most two. This will be a WPLUG 
outreach effort. Please email bethlynn at wplug.org if you are interested.

Kiosk Hardware Donors:
Let us borrow your hardware for the day. Desktop or laptop is fine but it 
must have a wireless card. Needed: at least one, at most four
You may want to use the KioskCD (www.kioskcd.com) or Knoppix. This will be 
a WPLUG outreach effort. Please email bethlynn at wplug.org if you are 
interested.

After-Party Setup Crew:
Contact Casey West (casey at geeknest.com) to say that you will help. 
Basically he need people to be at the TBA after-party venue before the 
conference day ends so that when folks show up around 6pm the space will 
be party-ready. Can do attitude necessary. No tech skills required.

Pre-Party Animal:
If you think you have what it takes to show the these folks a good time in 
Pittsburgh on Friday September 22, then please stand up. This is a 
hospitality gig for someone with lots of charm. No tech skills required.

Con-Staff:
We need people to help us run the event.   We'll let them in
the conference for free if they show up for the planning meeting work 
as con-staff for the day of the event. The tasks will likely entail check 
in, working the registration/information area during the talks, running 
go-for missions for any unexpected supply needs, being a friendly 
local-yokel, keeping the time clock for the talks, etc.
The planning meeting is on Wednesday September 13 at
