Hi Jerry, 

 

Thanks for returning my call to Steve Greeter.  I am an adjunct instructor with Community College of Allegheny County and received your invitation to your event via my email address gsimkins at ccac.edu (which I can only access via web interface - which is why I am using a different account from my laptop using Outlook Express).  

 

I attended the VMWare event here in Pittsburgh and would like to learn more.  I participated in a program at CCAC called Survivability and Information Assurance, a 13 credit series of courses where we used VMWare workstation extensively and I really liked it.  I am scheduled to teach cit-220 Linux (www.cit220.org) in the spring and I plan to use VMWare Server for the student to practice installations.  

 

Steve's message clarified that I need attend only one of the two days.  There were several tracks and perhaps I could benefit from two days.  What do you think?

 

I forwarded your invitation to the planning group for the Western Pennsylvania Linux Users Group (www.wplug.org), several of whom participated in the SIA program and might be interested.  I will forward to them any additional guidance you provide.
