[wplug-plan] ISO volunteers - email dispatchers and list moderators

Hello,

WPLUG is in search of (ISO) volunteers email dispatchers and list 
moderators.

These positions do not require in person attendance at our meetings.
Nor do they require much technical knowledge.

All that you need is the willingness to help, the ability to detect spam, 
access to the Internet, and the commitment to read and respond to email at 
least every other day.

It will take a couple minutes each day but your contribution would be a 
big help to the wplug community. We are counting on you to do your 
job. If for some reason a volunteer needs to take a break or quit these 
duties, all we ask is that you notify us (wplug-plan) so that we can find 
a new volunteer to take your place.

Email dispatchers
We are looking to form a team of dispatchers who will read an email 
address that we will advertise on our website.
The address will be info AT wplug dot org

Here are some example requests that might be sent to info

Q I'm not a member of wplug. Can I come to the next meeting?.
A Yes, all of our meetings are open to the general public, please sign up 
for the wplug-announce list to be notified of the next meeting details.

Q I have an NVIDIA card that I can't seem to get working. Can you help me?
A Your question has been forwarded to our technical discussion list,
wplug at wplug.org Please join the wplug at wplug.org list. Also we invite you 
to the next installfest which is $date.

Q Please fix this website bug
A Your question has been forwarded to our web team. Thank you for calling 
it to our attention. (forward to wplug-web AT wplug.org)

Q I want to tell Beth Lynn that I will be donating Orange Juice for the 
next GUM.
A Forward to Beth Lynn and/or the meeting host.

Q Hi, I am a head hunter. Can you post a job for me?
A Direct them to wplug-jobs AT wplug dot org (not yet in existence)

We are also looking for list moderators for the following lists

wplug-jobs (we need a moderator in order for this list to exist!)

We use mailman to maintain our mailing lists. Mailman provides a GUI, 
web-based interface for deleting spam and approving mail from 
non-list-members
