I didn't consider it a dispute.  I simply wanted to make sure that you
(and anyone else who may be lurking on plan@) understood the current
state of affairs on this recommendation.

The discussion is good.  If nobody else recommends it when it comes
time for the membership discussion, I'm going to recommend an
amendement that vice-chair be ex-officio member of this committee.
