Per the request of jo2y, I submit the following :)

First, I would like to take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Amanda
J. Waterman, and I am Assistant Project Manager of the LUG Section at
Linux.com; I am working with Grant Robertson, Project Manager. We're working
diligently to improve the section; we have a lot going on behind the scenes
and plenty more in the works. We're very excited and look forward to
building the definitive resource for LUG organizational, social, interest
and topical information available anywhere.

I was chatting with jo2y on IRC, and he mentioned that you are interested in
attracting more Linux Grrls to your meetings. He asked my opinion of your
web page, and I must admit, I do find it to have a certain masculine
quality. It may be the dark blue color or the font face and/or color... just
an FYI. :)

Also, your LUG Finder/link to GLUE(Linux Journal) is currently broken. We
welcome you to use ours... visitors can search the LUG database from your
website. For a sample, look here: http://linux.com/lug/search.txt. If you
would like to use the searh box, simply insert this html into your page:

<form action="http://linux.com/lug/search.phtml" method="post">
<a href="http://lugs.linux.com/">Linux.com LUG search</a>:
<input type="text" name="search_str" size="10">
<select name="search_type">
<option value="name">LUG Name
<option value="city">City
<option value="state">State
<option value="county">County
<option value="country">Country
</select>
<input type="submit" value="Submit Search">
</form>

If you have any questions or would like more information, feel free to
contact me- that's what I'm here for!
