Thank you.<br> <br> <strong><u>General Requirement: </u></strong><br> Implement and maintain quality web sites and applications on a Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP (LAMP) stack, using web and multimedia development and presentation tools to include but not limited to: HTML, CSS, PHP, CGI, XML/XSLT, JSP, JAVA, Java Script, Ajax, XHTML, Perl, Flash, Adobe Creative Suite, Google search, and MySQL database. Create multimedia, including photo galleries, slide shows, logos, and videos embedded in Web pages, and post videos on Adobe Flash media servers.<br> • Implement and maintain quality web sites and applications on a Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP (LAMP) stack, using web and multimedia development and presentation tools to include but not limited to: HTML, CSS, PHP, CGI, XML/XSLT, JSP, JAVA, Java Script, Ajax, XHTML, <a target="_blank" href="https://pixelsystemsinc.catsone.com/lib/forms/blank.html#_msocom_1" id="_anchor_1" name="_msoanchor_1">[DD1]</a> Flash, Adobe Creative Suite, Google search, and MySQL database.<br> • Architect, design and develop web sites and pages conforming to user requirements and EGSS established style guides. Integrate web usability best practices and aesthetics into design to create web sites that are devoid of ambiguity and present a satisfying user experience.<br> • Develop and post content to the web sites in a variety of formats as appropriate for the information being presented, and viewed in multiple browsers.<br> • Prepare web content for accessibility and compliance to Section 508 of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Test all content using EGSS provided tools to ensure it meets the Section 508 guidelines for accessibility before publication to production systems.<br> • Use secure web site coding and development practices. Before deployment to production, and periodically thereafter, scan all code for known security-related vulnerabilities using provided tools such as Cenzic Hailstorm, and resolve discovered vulnerabilities.<br> • Design, Develop, maintain and administer MySQL and other backend databases in support of existing and new web sites and applications.<br> • Document all requests, requirements, design, development and the finished products. Document operational maintenance and publishing processes, site and system configurations and any changes to the same. All web sites and applications, graphical designs, and documentation will become the property of the client.<br> • Test all developed products in the development and/or testing environments and migrate to production environment only upon receiving a satisfactory approval from EGSS or its delegates.<br> • Implement, administer, update and operate the software and tools used in the development and publication of web sites to include but not limited to: the open source WordPress in support of <a target="_blank" href="http://blogs.justice.gov">blogs.justice.gov</a>; the Adobe Media Server for serving flash media to majority of EGSS supported web sites; the Google Search Appliances; Version Control Systems, the EGSS Content Management System (CMS) custom developed in Java/J2EE, and the Apache web server, ModSecurity application firewall, and Tomcat applications server software.<br> • Support customers’ requirements, the technical feasibility of supporting the requirements, and assist EGSS in responding to customer requests for modifications to existing sites, technical enhancements or requests for new web sites.<br> • Provide training on new websites, services, and capabilities as required. This includes demonstrations and ongoing training as required.<br> • Complete all written or oral assignments received from the Government Task Manager (GTM) or the Content Management Team by required due dates or per developed project plans. Notify the GTM when problems are encountered that may impact project schedule.<br> • Monitor the group email box and ticket tracking system for task assignments. Update the ticket tracking system as tasks move through different stages of completion, and produce regular or adhoc reports as required.<br> • Produce and publish web site usage statistics and develop analytical reports as needed.<br> • Provide support for tasks that require coordination with the hosting provider, the Operational Services Staff (OSS).
