InterWorx, LLC is looking for an entry/junior-level Linux Support
Technician. This is a full time position in Pittsburgh, PA but working
from home may be a possibility once you get your feet wet. Salary will
be dependent on experience and may include health and dental benefits.<br>

Tasks<br>
* Supporting customers of the InterWorx Control-Panel (hours may be
somewhat flexible)<br>
* Diagnosing and repairing within the Control-Panel as well as with
services on the server itself<br>
* Working with InterWorx developers to reproduce/correct problems
within the Control-Panel<br>
* Doing some light development<br>
* Assisting with documentation of support procedures<br>

Requirements<br>
* Solid communication and writing skills, as your primary task will be
to interact with customers<br>
* Ability to communicate primarily through e-mail/instant-messaging<br>
* Solid knowledge of Linux (CentOS, Fedora, RHEL) in a shared hosting
environment<br>
* Working knowledge of managing hosting services such as httpd, mysql,
pop3, smtp, imap, etc.<br>
* Ability to work with the yum package manager<br>
* Proficiency with the bash shell<br>
<br>
Desired Experience (but not required)<br>
* Experience with E-mail systems such as Qmail and Courier<br>
* Experience with DNS systems such as djbdns <br>
* Have used InterWorx-CP in the past<br>
* Experience with Load-Balancing of hosting services (using LVM)<br>
* Experience with other Hosting Control Panel's (Plesk, cPanel,
DirectAdmin, etc)<br>
* Working knowledge of PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS<br>
