Senior Linux Systems Administrator

FUNCTION: Design, implement and manage the computing infrastructure
technologies and services. Establish, promote and enforce infrastructure
standards for operations, security and data integrity and for availability,
performance and capacity management. Proactively plan for growth and
business needs. Provide high-level support to technical team members locally
and at remote sites in regard to systems maintenance, implementation and
troubleshooting. 
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education: BS degree in Information Science or related field,
Advanced degree preferred
Experience: 5 - 7 years of experience in computing systems planning, design
and management. 
MCSE and/or Linux certification desired. 
Special Abilities: Detailed knowledge of operating systems (Microsoft
Server, Linux/Unix) as well as a working knowledge of network and data
communication protocols and technologies. Experience with back office /
management applications. 
Experience and knowledge in the design and management of resilient Windows
servers and services (Active Directory, Exchange 2007/2010). VMWare
Virtualization and EMC Storage experience preferred.
Demonstrated project planning, project management, documentation,
problem-solving and work prioritization skills. 
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate
effectively with end-users and management.
Excellent customer service skills including telephone techniques, listening
skills, sense of urgency and enthusiasm. 
Must be both team-oriented and self-motivated. 
Proven technical project management and documentation skills.
