6 month Linux Admin contract in Pittsburgh Pa

SCOPE OF SERVICES 

Linux: 

? Standardizing sudoers file across the Linux servers. 

? Startup/shutdown scripts on MOM servers 

? OS updates and Patching 

? Adding more Nagios checks. ( TSM, web logic services, ntp, etc) 

? Assist with AD/LDAP architecture and planning 

? Assist with security remediation 

? User/group management 

? Satellite Server experience 

? Server License audit RHEL & Oracle 

 

AIX: 

? Assist with AD/LDAP architecture and planning for AIX 

? Build out config for pushing out fixes/update to all AIX systems (using
ssh and sudo) 

? Cleanup system startup scripts (oracle, control m, nagios, ..) 

? Support enhanced nagios monitoring 

? Support Netbackup Client installations (should we move forward with
netbackup) 

? Audit AIX box's for LPM configuration and remediate issues preventing LPM
usage 

? Assist in design of LPM complex. 

? Audit patch levels on AIX 

? Rebuild NIM environment
