This position is responsible for the maintenance, upgrades and migration
of my client's production environment as well as related systems.

The IT Administrator will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation
of the real-time system, which is a Java / Javascript application that is
deployed on Ubuntu Linux via the Tomcat container, and runs against a
PostgreSQL database.

The position will maintain and monitor the production deployment of the
product/system, which will require understanding of Bash scripts, package
maintenance, Tomcat deployment, and system monitoring through a
combination of SNMP and scripting reporting to the Zenoss open source
package.  Routine maintenance using Bacula for backups and updating
operating system patches will be required.

My client is in the healthcare industry so all of their systems conform to
a company Information Security Program that implements HIPAA and HITECH. 
Adhering to these standards and improving processes in a commonsense way
is an important part of this position.

 Requirements:

1. BSCS and significant project experience

2. Strong knowledge/experience in all or most of Ubuntu Linux, Postgres
SQL, Tomcat and Bacula

3. Excellent Problem Solving skills and Independent thinking.

4. An entry level candidate who can bring intelligence, drive, and energy
to the position and team.

5. Ability to work with the SW Development team and DBA to ensure
production runs smoothly.

6. Some Healthcare or HIPAA experience a strong plus.
