My employer, Intermedix, has several openings for technical people
in Pittsburgh.

I'm not even going to bother with the official job postings: we're
looking for smart, technical people -- primarily software developers,
but also people who can manage software deployment, take on full-time
administration of SVN repositories, etc.

The Pittsburgh office primarily develops in PHP, but we're smart enough
to know that really good programmers can switch language in a shorter
period of time than it will take us to train an inexperienced PHP
developer.  That doesn't mean we're not interested in PHP developers
right out of school -- our environment includes a peer-review process
that makes it easy for young developers to learn and grow.  (yes, I
know that sounds like a sales pitch, but it's true)

As a side note, Intermedix is also hiring developers in the Fort
Lauderdale, FL office.  These are primarily Java positions, but
we're also looking for a few candidates with strong version control/
release engineering background.  If you know of anyone, again, send
their information to me so I can steamroll the HR department with
it.
