A Database Administrator position has opened up at the University of
Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. Below is the job description and

- The Database Administrator will perform database management,  need
analysis, requirement specification and scripting.
- The person will identify commercial database applications that can
meet the school's needs in education, research, administration and
patient care.
- The position requires solid knowledge and administrative experience
in Oracle, MS SQL and Crystal Reports.
- The DBA will develop custom application for areas where no or no
optimal commercial solutions are available.
- Strong programming skill and knowledge of C++, .NET, VB or PHP is preferred.
- The ideal candidate will have a M.S. in Computer or Information
Science,  a minimum of 2-3 years work experience, and excellent
oral/written communication skills.
