Data Warehouse Consultants is seeking a Linux Systems Administrator with proficiency in MySQL database administration for a position in Pittsburgh, PA.
Required experience:
*         Expert in Linux systems administration
o    UNIX administration experience may be substituted, but a very strong knowledge of Linux is required
o    Administration of medium-large data center environments
o    High-Availability and Disaster Recovery architectures
o    Performance Analysis and Tuning
o    DNS, DHCP, RADIUS, LDAP, Apache, SSL, mod_perl, SMTP, IMAP
o    Perl and shell scripting
o    RHCE certification or equivalent experience
*         Proficiency in TCP/IP network administration
o    Load balancing hardware
o    Cisco routers and switches
o    Network security and firewalls
o    CCNA certification or equivalent expertise
*         Proficiency in MySQL database administration
o    Other RDBMS administration experience may be substituted, but knowledge of and experience with MySQL is required
o    MySQL 5.0 DBA certification or equivalent expertise
*         Excellent analytical thinking and problem solving skills
*         Excellent organizational, decision making and communications skills
*         Experience with CVS Subversion, Mac OS X or VMWare is a plus
