You will use your talent to complete complex assignments requiring
extensive knowledge in areas related to Integration, Relationship, and
Project Management. You will be responsible for all aspects of the
development and implementation of your assigned projects. You will be an
important liaison between technology and the business you support, as
you meet regularly with the business units to insure highest service
levels are achieved and the appropriate decisions are made.

The successful candidate will have the following
qualifications/skills:

B.S. in Computer Engineering or related field.
Strong hands-on experience with Linux administration, scripting (e.g.
shell, perl, sed, awk), and network security.
5-10 years experience in administering, configuring, and maintaining
Web Servers (specifically Apache v2.0 and higher).
Strong understanding of Internet and distributed systems technologies,
including infrastructure monitoring, configuration, and capacity
management.
Strong understanding of Network and Web Server Load Balancing and GTM
and DNS configurations.
Qualified candidate must be highly organized with excellent decision
making, analytical, problem solving, and leadership skills.
Excellent communication skills required, must be able to interface with
all levels of business and technology partners.
Additional experience in WebSphere, LDAP, RDMS and their interactions
desired.

Responsibilities include:
Administration of shared IBM Web Server environments, including
administering, configuring, and maintaining Apache servers.
Supporting J2EE development efforts and troubleshooting Web Server,
Network Capacity, and Load Balancing issues.
Supporting Test environment setups, code deployments, and configuration
management.
Implement automation of administrative tasks, including documentation.
Evaluation, standardization, implementation, and documentation of
supplemental administrative, monitoring, and development tools.
Provide guidance for future direction of development and shared
services environments and tools.
Extended hours are sometimes required when working to achieve project
deadlines or assist in resolution of Production system problems.
After hours "on-call" support may be required from time to time.
