Here's the details:

The selected candidate will provide technical leadership to develop, support
and enhance the Linux server environment. This candidate will participate in
system development meetings to ensure effective hardware architecture design
through best practices and corporate standards. This person must provide
advanced administration and system/performance monitoring of the server
platform including network and SAN connectivity. They will implement and
maintain Linux systems, perform hardware, operating system, security and
application updates/patches as needed. This candidate will troubleshoot
production incidents including corrective actions and determining root
cause, and also provide off hour support on a rotational basis. The ideal
candidate must be comfortable working in an environment deemed mission
critical.
Position Information: 
Minimum year(s) of experience in the following areas: 
. 4+ years of Linux system administration experience. . Experience in system
architecture and design of mission critical systems. . Solid understanding
of TCP/IP and network technologies . Extensive knowledge in the following,
RedHat Linux, Apache, and VMware. . Strong knowledge of system performance
and monitoring tools, HP Openview preferred. . Preferred knowledge of the
following, Weblogic, Tibco, SAN connectivity, VCFS, NetBackup, Windows 2003,
and Microsoft Active Directory 
WORK RELATED SKILLS: 
This candidate must have the ability to work as part of a team and with
users at all levels of the organization. This person must be well organized,
responsible, posses good project management skills, have good verbal and
written communication skills, and be able to multitask in dynamic server
environment. 
EDUCATION: 
Mandatory requirement: Bachelor's Degree in MIS/I.T or related discipline or
equivalent experience. 
Preferred requirement: Bachelor's Degree in MIS/I.T or related discipline or
equivalent experience.
