Hi,

We are looking for:

-- Solid Linux Knowledge with an interest in embedded systems
-- have work experience with Linux in a technical support, administrative, or development role

plus

-- Familiarity with web-based content management systems
-- PHP, Python, HTML skills

plus

-- capable documentation skills (you do not have to be a techpubs person...looking for Linux expertise)
-- team player...really means that you work well with others

The role would be as follows:

1. understand current content-delivery mechanisms (which are Framemaker-based docs plus Drupal (www.drupal.org)
2. Understand key embedded Linux concepts
3. dig into key areas such as debugging, perf tuning, and cross-compiling (among others...)
4. become a subject matter expert on #3
5. Use #1 to generate new web-specific content in the form of forums, blogs, content postings, articles, etc.

This is a hands on position.  Not looking for a pure docs person, but someone who would be willing to create good web-based content.  If you have supported Linux/Solaris/other variant of Unix and are looking for something varied, this may interest you.
