Netronome Systems develops high-performance network flow processing, deep
packet inspection and application acceleration solutions for networking,
communications and security appliance manufacturers and the IT organizations
that use them.  

 

ENGINEERING IT ADMINISTRATOR

 

DESCRIPTION

The Engineering Systems Administrator will assume a pivotal role in
maintaining the network and server infrastructure for the engineering group
at Netronome Systems. The qualified candidate will be expected to come
up-to-speed quickly to meet technical goals and challenges. The candidate
will be responsible for installing new servers; system upgrades; evaluating
and installing patches and resolving software-related problems; maintaining
data files and monitoring system configuration to ensure data integrity;
network and server recovery from outages; maintain integrity of
build/documentation/wiki servers etc.  

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualified candidate must be self-motivated, capable of managing time well
and able to work efficiently without close supervision. The candidate will
be proactive in identifying and resolving technical challenges and
enthusiastically troubleshoot problems when they occur.

 

REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate will demonstrate or possess the following:

. 7-10 years related work experience

. LAN Administration

       - In-depth knowledge of IP networking, VLANs, configuring and
troubleshooting spanning tree, and DHCP . Linux server and desktop
administration

       - Linux systems installation and configuration, mainly Red Hat and
Fedora Core Linux with advanced services, software and hardware raid, backup
procedures, regular maintenance and package upgrades.

       - Knowledge in Configuring and maintaining Apache web servers, Mail
Server, FTP server, Linux security, Linux firewall, Kernel Performance
Tuning and configuring Software RAID

       - Knowledge of the Linux networking stack and experience in
configuring LDAP. Ability to support multiple sites . Scripting Experience
in a Unix/Linux Environment - familiarity with bash shell scripting, AWK,
SED, perl.

 

The preferred candidate would also have experience with the following:

. Virtualization

. Linux IP Tables

. SSL & TLS

. Setting up and maintaining wikis
