The Department of Mathematical Sciences at CMU is seeking a highly 
motivated  Application Developer. If you desire a challenge and are 
willing to 
demonstrate your capabilities and value, then we want to include you in 
our current and emerging opportunities in large scale computing for 
materials science and biology.

The ideal candidate will be a creative and versatile programmer with at 
least 2 to 3 years experience in developing C++ applications in a 
Linux/Unix environment. In addition background in mathematics including 
differential equations and linear algebra is required. The candidate will 
work in cooperation with other team members on several in-house systems. 
These development activities include, but are not limited to, design, 
documentation, programming, testing, deployment and maintenance.
