I have an immediate need for a 3rd Shift -- Load Production Specialist. 
Work hours will be Monday night - Friday night, 10 PM - 6:30 AM. This would be a contract to hire position.

Job Related Experience: 
Two years experience in operations type environment and/or help desk environment required as well as familiarity with database
query retrieval (SQL), Unix scripting, and server operating systems (UNIX).

Functional Area Skills/ Knowledge/Abilities:
- A technical aptitude (ability to adapt and learn new technology).
- General understanding of the hardware and software used in a datawarehouse environment.
- Familiarity with client/server and network technology
- Familiarity with SQL queries (ability to build command-line SQL ) and UNIX navigational skills are a must.
- Experience interacting with internal and external clients
- Ability to work any shift up to and including 12 hour shifts.
- Ability to work holidays

Background of job and skill sets, Position Purpose:

Responsible for monitoring and providing support of the datawarehouse environments. Using various tools and checklists, the Operations Analyst monitors the  datawarehouse load schedule in order
to identify, escalate and resolve issues.

Nature and Scope:
Provide daily operational client support. This includes maintaining, servicing relationships and effectively communicating with clients and internal staff to ensure that problems are resolved. Manage all issues in
a timely and accurate manner, complete all shift checklists and follow load production support documented procedures

Education:
Bachelor of Science degree (General degree accepted)
*Work related experience may be substituted for the educational requirements.
