Wellspring Worldwide is the leading provider of software tools to manage 
the process of new technology development and commercialization. Our 
clients include major universities and government labs throughout North 
America and Europe. Our mission is to create and transform intuitive 
designs into stable, reliable and robust web-based applications. We seek 
a senior software developer and architect for a full-time position to 
lead the architecture design and development of Python applications 
running in Apache on Linux.

Responsibilities include:
* Developing browser-based applications using both proprietary and 
open-source tools.
* Full-life cycle (design, development, quality assurance, 
implementation and support) involvement.
* Participation in external and internal meetings and contributing 
exciting, creative ideas on how to solve complex problems.
* Writing code for reusability.

Required skills:
* Strong background in database design and deployment for DB driven 
sites using MySQL (Postgres is a plus).
* Knowledge of Python, PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. * Proficiency 
with Apache/Linux.
* Strong understanding of HTML design capabilities and constraints of 
various platforms and browsers.
* Ability to estimate, prioritize and manage multiple projects in 
deadline-driven environment.
* BS/MS in Computer Science or related field (preferred) or equivalent 
experience.
