Description:
Software Development Engineer, Manageability. Join a team of software
development professionals to design and implement the user interface and
distributed system infrastructure to manage leading edge clustered storage
systems. You will use your demonstrated abilities to design and develop
object oriented commercial software utilizing the C++ programming language
in a Unix environment.

Essential Functions:
This individual will participate in the software development of tools and
infrastructure to manage a GX clustered storage system. Responsibilities
include the analysis, design and implementation of C++ user interfaces and
system infrastructure utilizing the simple management framework.

Requirements:
· Qualified candidate will have 3+ years experience in object oriented
analysis, design and implementation in C++ and XML.
· Knowledge of SNMP, SMI-S and other management protocols highly desirable.
· Previous experience building user interfaces for commercial products.
· In depth knowledge of FreeBSD or Linux operating system.
· Must have excellent troubleshooting/debugging skills with a variety of
tools such as gdb.
· Excellent teamwork, verbal and written communications skills.
· Distributed systems analysis, design and implementation highly desirable.
· Experience in highly scalable systems desired.
· Unix network programming experience is a plus.

Education:
B.S. Computer Science or related field required, M.S. preferred.
