TimeSys is searching for a Senior Developer Exchange Services Engineer
for its Customer and Partner Services Team.  The successful candidate
will be required to immediately immerse him/herself into TimeSys'
technology to understand our products thoroughly and be able to answer
customers' and partners' questions regarding the products and services

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

*	Provide knowledgeable and timely pre- and post-sales customer
and partner support
*	Identify, collect, and distribute customer and partner
requirements to Product Management and Engineering
*	Identify, define, document, and demonstrate typical customer and
partner use cases that leverage and illustrate the relevance and value
of LinuxLink products and services
*	Escalation of customer and partner issues to Product Management
and Engineering
*	Active participation in the Developer Exchange, including
technology transfer and product application support
*	Help customers and partners to leverage LinuxLink, Developer
Suite, and Developer Exchange by acting as a knowledgeable and helpful
guide and product specialist/consultant
*	Work with customer and partner development teams to assist in
the integration of TimeSys products and services into their development
processes
*	Create and deliver general and specialized web and/or on-site
training for customers and partners in public and private sessions
*	Own technical account management responsibility for assigned
strategic accounts
*	Maintain awareness of competitive products and technologies
*	Additional job responsibilities as required

 

Essential Requirements:

 

*	Open source community awareness required, evidence of prior
leadership and/or participation desired
*	Experience and proven success engaging with customers and
partners
*	Enjoys learning on-the-job
*	Excellent and demonstrable written and oral communication
skills; public speaking background highly desired
*	Hands-on, can-do, whatever-it-takes attitude -- but also
recognizes and delegates when necessary
*	Sales-savvy (e.g., able to recognize, nurture, and redirect
potential business opportunities found inside the Developer Exchange)
*	Thrives in a matrix environment
*	Has demonstrated an adventurous and inquisitive spirit, and
thrives on learning new things
*	Understands and encourages development and implementation of
quality systems, processes and procedures
*	Prior experience in a teaching or training role a plus
*	Some travel (20%) may be required
*	B.S. in CS or EE
