Heh ... ;-)  Yeah, after reflection, I figured I should at least put 
something in it - after I initialized the bare repo, I realized it 
didn't even have a "master" branch, and thought that might confuse 
people (or might confuse client software trying to clone the repo). So I 
just added the README file to establish the "master" branch....
