BTW ... the only reason I pointed out Red Hat OpenShift Online, along
with the question of staying on RHEL, is mainly for those who want to
remain on the same, backported PHP, Python, etc... versions that are
in RHEL and RHSCL. OpenShift Online has added RHSCL as well in 2014.

There are certainly other PaaS solutions and offerings out there, a
few with free options. But those will likely rebase versions more
often.

Just trying to offer some options to reduce administrative load,
likely costs as well. I don't know if the OpenShift Online free
account will be sufficient, but it certainly can't hurt to use it for
prototyping. Multiple accounts are also allowed.
