<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Well I have to say Bill that I read your last post
with both amazement and disappointment.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>First of all I should say that I mostly agree with
what you posted. </FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>But I have to ask this question and use your own
words</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2><STRONG>"a group is only as good as what is put
into it."</STRONG></FONT></DIV>
<DIV><STRONG><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT></STRONG> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>That being said how is it that this discussion took
place off the message boards instead of in it?</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>I don't know how many people took part in this off
group discussion but I can say this. I WAS NOT ASKED TO BE PART OF IT.and
I guess it bothers me that already the group has established a pecking order
that does not include everyone. Now here we are just a few days away from
the meeting and it sounds like to me the agenda has already been set. And
that it is just a formality to ask if there is any other input to make people
who were not included in this discussion feel good.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>I will only speak for myself here when I say I have
been a memeber of computer groups before. And I have to say that the
biggest killer of this or any other group is to make people feel like they are
outsiders. Now I know I had to be late for the first two meetings but I
did attend both. So I would think that I have demonstrated that I am
interested in getting this group going. Yet I was not included in this off
list discussion. Could you tell me why? Personally I would like to
know upfront if this group is going to be run by a select few people. You
make the statement that the Erie list had been very quiet. Well I guess it
would not have been if you would have had this discussion within the
list.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Again I have been at both meetings of this
group. I think I have demonstrated that I would like to be a part of
making this group work. But I have to tell you that right now I feel very
dejected about this turn of events. If my input at this point means
anything then let me make this suggestion for discussion. At some point
there is going to have to be a discussion made about who is going to run the
show. And I guess I would like to know that everyone is going to be made
to feel welcome and that nobody for any reason is going to be left out of the
loop. For me personally if I am not going to be included in this process
then I would like to know up front. That way I won't make an ass of myself
trying to participate where I'm not wanted or needed.</FONT></DIV>
