Since the tool seems to be working adequately for everyone else I'd suggest updating a hard or soft copy calendar when the first email goes out. This way you won't need to rely on the reminder that comes from google the previous day. Whatever problems you're having are better addressed with a tactful message with suggestions for resolution direct to Mike than accusatory flame emails that copy the whole group. I believe what you are talking about Bruce is the reminder notice, not the initial invite, like I said, I sent the original invite out a month in advance ... sorry if you didn't get it, I just send them, I am not the email police and I do not take responsibility for how/where your (or anyone else's) email gets sent, or even if it arrives... not my problem ... that's what the website and IRC channels are there for, just in case you do not get an email! One more time ? I just send the invites to the ErieLUG Mailing list (I am going out on a limb here and assuming you are on that list ? as you get all these emails) so ? assuming you are on the mailing list, you SHOULD get the initial invite ? that is again assuming everyone else is getting the invites. I know I am assuming a lot here, and I am sure everyone knows what that means. I do believe I have tried to do what you asked, I send out the initial invites way ahead of time, I even have Google setup to send out reminders (which is what you are getting - although I will see if I can get the reminders set to send out 2 days earlier instead of the night before - no promises though). I don't think there is anything more I can do to help you. By the way, is anyone else having issues getting the initial invites? To be honest I really don't care if anyone receives the reminders or not ? those are just sent out to be nice ? but I do want to make sure that either A) you guys get the invites or B) those of you using the Google Colander ? that the calendar updates properly.
