Tentative plan is to meet at the library at 8:30 & then go to Edinboro Walmart to pick up Ryan at 9. However, it would be helpful to get a definitive head count before making the trip. Would you have room if I could get a group of WPLUGgers from Pittsburgh to come? No worries if you don't. Is that 8:30 AM, at the library (forgot its name) next to the maritime museum on E Front Street? BTW, did any of you here attend the InstallFest in Pittsburgh at CMU this past Saturday? > Thanks, > Jesse -- David Ostroske From a-bruiexjr at lycos.com Wed Jul 12 10:44:10 2006 From: a-bruiexjr at lycos.com (a-bruiexjr) Date: Wed, 12 Jul 2006 10:44:10 -0400 (EDT) Subject: [RE]Re: [wplug-erie] install fest Message-ID: <20060712104410.HM.0000000000000CP@a-bruiexjr.bos-mail-wwl22.bos.lycos.com.lycos.com> An HTML attachment was scrubbed... Erie's WPLUG, IMHO, is not quite ready for an installfest. I think we need another organizational meeting first. That is only my opinion though so take it as you will. I had seen the August 19th meeting time. I wasn't assuming that that was an installfest. Your organizational meeting on Aug. 19, though. Mind if I came to see ErieLUG get off the ground again? (I'm the secretary for WPLUG, by the way.) I'm offering to help, mostly out of wanting to see it happen, but partly because I was delinquent in coming to the WPLUG installfest last Saturday, and I want to make up for missing most of it. What version works best with a powermac with 233 mHz processor, 170MB ram? I've pulled the hard drive out and replaced it with an unused 20 gig so I don't loose my os 9.2 install. Any pointers, hints, things to look out for, or knowledge of the next installfest, either erie or pitt? I'm not having a lot of luck finding info for the "Old World" beige box I have.
