I'd like to thank all in attendance today. This was the most successful
meeting so far and I thing we finally have things rolling in the right
direction.

A quick summary of the meeting:

We planned meetings for the next three months, the schedule lookes like
this:

March 28 - 1 pm to 4 pm at the Blasco Library
Introducing GNU\Linux -- This meeting will give a whirlwind tour of three
major distributions, three "live" CDs, and a quick introduction to Windows
Analogs on Linux. Because of the quantity of topics covered, none of these
talks will be indepth -- They will all be quick introductions.

April 24 -- 10 am to 5 pm. (hoping to hold this in Albion at the firehall,
but no one who could offer us that space was at the meeting) else the Blasco
Library.
ErieLUG First Installfest -- The name says it all. We are hoping to invite
a few of the experts from Pittsburgh to help us through this. We may have
to bribe them with pizza.

May 22 1 pm - 4 pm at the Blasco Library
An introduction to Wine -- This topic was suggested for this meeting. We
may again need to recruit expertise from Pittsburgh if at all possible.
This is still in flux at this point.

Tom has offered to start producing flyers to be sent to local
colleges/universities and put up any place geeks can be found (your basement
doesn't count :P ). I am crafting an e-mail to send to the Universities to
introduce ourselves to them. Also, per Tom's recommendation, I created an
e-mail account to use on our flyers: ErieLUG at linuxmail.com. I'll share
that password with those interested in helping assisting with "recruitment"
off list.
