[wplug-erie] First (new) ErieLUG Meeting!

Hi everyone, I hope you are having a wonderful holiday season and are
ready for the new year. I think it's time we get ready to make 2005 a
year for the ErieLUG.

As for a meeting, it's time to make a call on this so it can happen.
Let's go for Sunday, January 9th. As for a location, I think I found a
great one. A new cafe recently opened down on Peach Street - Moonsense
Cafe. It is down on 54th and Peach where Montana Mill's used to be (look
for a giant Eckerd's sign, right below it is the Moonsense sign). Good
coffee, great people, and free wifi! I also know the owners a little
bit, and they can be geeks as well!

I just thought of this recently, and the owners are out of town, so I
haven't had a chance to talk them about it. I have a feeling that they
will be very open to this idea though. If everyone agrees, I say we
shoot for Moonsense Cafe @ 3:00pm on Sunday January 9th. I will talk
with the owners as soon as I can. If there is any problem with this time
or location I will send out a notice ASAP. Please post a reply to the
forum post so I can have a rough idea of who to expect. This is mostly
just an informal meeting for the Erie people to get to know each other,
but if some of the wplug members feel like making a trek up north, feel
free to join us!

If you can't make it to this one, don't worry - we will try to start
having these more regularly. And, if anyone is looking for a good place
to hang out, I am at the cafe now almost every night. Scary enough, if
you ask the people at the counter about Brint or Gordon, they will
probably be able to point us out :)
