[wplug-bsd] CUPSD and USB printer "USB Port Busy..."

When you get the USB Port Busy error, what happens if you try an 'echo
test > /dev/ulpt0' ?
After your unplug the USB cable and plug it back in, does 'dmesg'
contain any hints?
