Greetings list,

  I have a PCChips M848LU motherboard[1] that I want to install NetBSD
on. I wrote the i386 port list[2] for NetBSD, but haven't really heard
anything constructive back yet. Here is the output I get when trying to
boot from the CD or floppy:

NetBSD/i386 ustartfs Primary Bootstrap

>> NetBSD/i386 BIOS Boot, Revision 3.1
>> (builds at build, Wed Dec 1, 10:30:14 UTC 2004)
>> Memory: 639/523200 k

Press return to boot now, any other key for boot menu

Booting fd0a:netbsd - starting in 0

3692492-

And it locks. For FreeBSD, it simply loops scrolling error output to the screen.
I can see that it shows a register dump (i.e. AX, BX, SP, CS, etc), but it goes so
fast I can't really read it clearly. I've installed both Free and NetBSD in production
environments many times and I've never seen such behavior. Google turns up nothing.
Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Carl
