[wplug-board] Phoning in to the board meeting

Just wanted to remind everyone that I will be phoning in for our board
meeting today.  It's possible my phone may break up or the like since I'll
be calling from home and don't have great reception there, so if anything
happens, then somebody else will have to keep the meeting moving.

My report just in case anything happens preventing the phone conversation
is as follows:

The Chair reports that he, the Vice Chair, the Treasurer, and Charles
Butler have started work on the membership portal.  The actual
implementation is still being discussed on Github, and the Chair will have
a better idea by the weekend the direction to go with regards to a
framework to be used to help implement the portal, based on needs and the
skill sets of those involved.  Once more details are in place and the
requirements documentation is in place, work will begin on the portal,
hopefully within a couple of weeks.  That said, before that, ideally
interested parties would get together beforehand just to work through the
details a bit faster.  Perhaps something can be set up for an upcoming
weekend?

Also, the Chair wanted to mention that he and Treasurer still need to get
together to get the signature card signature done.  The Chair will arrange
to have this done soon, perhaps this weekend or next depending on weather
and availability of the Treasurer and the Chair.
