Following up on our discussion, here's a review of the RHEL 7 beta
<http://distrowatch.com/weekly.php?issue=20140512>.  This was for
the workstation rather than the server variant, so much of what he
looked at wouldn't really apply to our situation, but it may be
worth a read.

The Red Hat subscription issues he mentions of course would not
come into play with CentOS.
