I met with Tom Cimaroli at WSCC today. We met with the managers and
the building manager, Melvin.

Tom and I developed a cable routing plan

Plan A: ~ 100 feet of EMT, 1/2 or 3/4", routed following the gas line
through the closet spaces
Plan B: ~ 100(*) feet of MC Cable with Cat5E/Cat6A (MC = Metal Clad
Armored Cable)

Both are NEC-compliant options. Both can be patch panel or RJ45 Jack
terminated (Faceplate). The former may be a bit more labor intensive
because we tend to use unistrut and clamps for future expansion; where
as MC is surface mounted with straps; surface mounting EMT _can_ be
done.

We'll talk some more this week, either way is a few hours of work,
either EMT bending or mounting into plaster/quick

~BAS

(*) = 14 foot ceilings, 18 inch floors, 60+ lateral run,
closet-to-office run, etc.
