These may not meet your criteria, but I've run across some other
venues.  The Carnegie Museums have locations in Oakland and on
the North Shore.  Seem to be (IMO) pricey, maybe negotiable?

Soldiers & Sailors Memorial has a 2300-seat auditorium and a
400-seat ballroom.  No idea of the cost.
