The Western Pennsylvania Linux Users Group is holding a General User
Meeting on Saturday, January 12, 2007.  The location is 3002 Newell-
Simon Hall on the campus of Carnegie Mellon University.  Directions

The schedule for the day's activities is:
  10:00 AM - Doors open
  10:30 AM - Business meeting (informal discussion)
  11:00 AM - Presentation
  12:30 AM - Pizza lunch ($5)
   2:00 PM - All done!

In lieu of a formal business meeting, there will be discussion of
upcoming events and other subjects of interest.

Speaker: Ted Rodgers

Gentoo is an approach to building a Linux system which automates
fetching and compilng all* parts of the system from source code,
similar in concept to the FreeBSD ports system.  Its design makes it
extremely flexible and customizable.  Ted will talk about his
experience using Gentoo at work and at home.

are also easily available).
