The Western Pennsylvania Linux Users Group is having a special
presentation from Todd Blumer of SDG systems entitled Linux on Mobile
Devices.  The presentation itself starts at 11am on Saturday, July 14th,
2007 on the campus of Carnegie Mellon University in Newell Simon Hall
room 3002.  The event is free and open to the public, no RSVP is required.

SDG systems provides custom solutions to transform mobile devices that
previously ran proprietary software into systems that run your favorite
Free software.  Be sure not to miss this exciting event.  Here's a rough
outline of the topics presented:

1) Overview of SDG Systems and product descriptions (hands on during lunch)
2) Overview of OpenEmbedded build environment
3) "Drill down" (but not too deep) on doing a port to a mobile device
(ARM / XScale emphasis)

Don't miss your chance to see and experience some of the latest mobile
devices running Linux.
