Hello,

Western PA Linux Users Group will be hosting a General Users Meeting
(GUM) featuring Mandriva. It will be held on this Saturday
December 3, 2005 from 10am to 2 pm  at Carnegie Mellon University,
Newell Simon Hall 1507. This meeting is free and open to the general
public.

GUM TOPIC: "Mandriva"

Abstract:
Vance Kochenderfer will demonstrate Mandriva 2006, the first full 
distribution released by the company formed from Mandrake, Conectiva, and 
Lycoris. He'll review the basic layout of the distribution and some of its 
administration tools, and show the major changes from previous versions of 
Mandrake Linux. There will be time left over at the end for a 
demonstration of the features or software that interest you. If you post 
your specific request to the wplug plan subscription-required mailing list 
we'll try to make sure to include it.
