This month's Tutorial topic will be a somewhat updated version of my
IPTables talk that was last given in September of 2001.

IPTables are the firewall rules used in the linux 2.4 kernel. You can
filter traffic, do NAT, redirect packets and other neat stuff. This talk
will also include a brief coverage of IP address theory (CIDR, netmasks,
default gateway, ports, etc.) so that everyone has a working knowledge to
start from.

People are welcome to bring a computer so they can test out commands as I
explain them, but it is not required. (this is not an installfest!)

All of the usual times and rooms apply:

Saturday February 8th, 2003
Carnegie Mellon Campus, Newell Simon Room 1507
http://www.wplug.org/map-color.png
Donuts and juice at 10am, talk starts at 11am, lunch break at 12noon
People get kicked out of the room at 2pm. No later.
